Truck Surfing is when you take a Toyota pick up truck, fit it with all terrain tires, secure a couch to the back, add a cooler full of drinks and rip around the super volcano that is Lake Atitlan!!

Let's go Truck Surfing!

Truck Surfing begins at 8:30 am with a breakfast burrito or mcmuffins at Mister Jons in Panajachel.

After you get fueled up, your truck will be waiting for you outside.

You'll take the backroads to Tzununa, roll through San Marcos, and then head to San Juan where you'll stop for lunch.

After lunch you'll surf through San Pedro, and take the backroad to Santiago with a police escort. Then its on to San Lucas, Godinez, and finally back to Panajachel.

Prepare to see some views few toursits ever get to see. Views that will have you saying out loud, holy shit that's amazing.

FAQs

1) What should I bring?

Even though it might be hot in Pana, once we head up to the volcanic ridge, it will get chilly and it could even rain. We recommend wearing light clothes, but bringing a good windbreaker and long pants just in case. You'll also want to bring anything that will protect you from the sun, as you will be exposed most of the day.
